IMPORTANT
In order to drive in Mexico you need to purchase Mexican insurance. I recommend Instant Mexico Auto Insurance Services, by phone (619) 428-4714 or online at the link below:
https://instantmexicoinsurance.com/
Full coverage is recommended for the dates of trip.
While driving on highways, keep speed at 65mph.
All guests are provided official event decals as well as sponsor decals and are encouraged to apply them for the duration of trip. Guests are also provided official event t-shirt.
No drinking alcoholic beverages and driving.
DOCUMENTATION
Must provide color copy of passport and driver’s license, and health card if available (on 1 page please).
Keep a copy for yourself as well.
Must sign a waiver.
You will be given a radio to use on the tour.
Exchange Currency: There is a small store and a Casa de Cambio to buy pesos for gas and shopping. I suggest exchanging $500-800 USD. They take US dollars in Baja but sometimes you do not get a good deal. Gas is best paid in Mexican pesos.
